The Safari Cup, with the Sundowner Lounge on the mezzanine floor, offers international décor & a range of food & beverages not seen anywhere in the Birmingham area. If you want to impress your guests with something international & something quite different from the usual white tablecloth restaurant, the Safari Cup is worthy of your consideration.
For functions including presentations look no further than the Safari Cup. Our Sundowner lounge includes a state of the art 96” overhead projector & surround sound system. The System is multi-functional & can show presentations via computer, DVD, VHS, PAL, the Internet or a satellite feed. Check with our sales staff on rates for the use of this impressive presentation tool.
Many options exist for any corporation or group wanting to hold a successful event in Downtown Birmingham. These include;
- Breakfast meetings. Knowing the Safari Cup serves
the finest coffee - sourced from where all coffee comes from - your
breakfast meeting will have the very best of starts. Each & every
day, freshly baked, onsite delicatessens such as croissants, muffins,
cinnamon rolls & other breakfast specialties are on offer. Hot
breakfasts, including our own Hunter’s Breakfast, may also be
pre-ordered. Hot off the pan waffles are also on the breakfast menu.
Prices range from $3.75 to $5.75 per head. Minimum group size 20.

- Luncheon presentations. Make full use of the Safari
Cup’s location to present your products or services to any of
the 35,000 people who work in downtown Birmingham. The Safari Cup
is surrounded with legal offices, large banking institutions, several
large service corporations & many large national & multi-national
corporate head offices. Check out the Luncheon menu or Functions
menu available for these functions. No rental fee is required
for Luncheon presentations in the Sundowner Lounge whose
food & beverage order is in excess of $250.
- Evening fundraisers or promotional events. Once
again, the Safari Cup’s great location enables fundraisers or
promotional events to draw from the 35,000 people who work in Downtown
Birmingham. We have a full bar with wines from South Africa, international
& domestic beers – with special mention of our Guinness
on tap – plus a fine selection of whiskey’s, vodka’s
& other spirits. No rental fee for either the downstairs area
or the Sundowner Lounge is required for those evening events
occurring during our normal business hours & whose food &
beverage order is in excess of $750. Bookings for events after hours,
or over the weekend are charged a rental fee of $685 from 8 - 12PM.
If the event continues after midnight, an extra fee of $200 per hour
is added.
- Corporate training or presentations: Whether your
business wishes to run a training programme for its staff or has a
new product launch for its clientele, the Safari Cup, with
its international décor, in-house movie theatre & great
location has no peer. Some corporations utilize the Sundowner
Lounge for a full day. No rental fee is charges where food &
beverage orders exceed $500.
